my long distance relationship

so i was a background actor this past friday on a pilot for a possible new show for MTV..we filmed in whittier at this old now-closed correctional facility called fred c nelles..place gave me the creeps because we had to film a scene where the jail cells were.. me and a few others walked around and went into the cells and it was crazy. besides the place, i had so much fun and got to meet other cool people who were also "atmosphere" as roberto put it.. there was only 8 of us. im in the "dressing room" doing my hair + makeup and dan and james walk in and start stripping down (thanks guys lmao) and im thinking to myself, "i dont think i should be in here right now" haha the stylist put me in the most ridiculous outfit ever, as we were going for the "awkward weird look." i was put in sweats, shorts, a long sleeve shirt and a FWU school t-shirt (it was made for the show). sooo im sure you guys don't know who these comedians are but dan levy and james kirkland are two very funny people.. my long distance relationship was a webisode before mtv asked for a pilot. anyways, we spent like 10 hours filming this gym scene and that was super tiring but we all super happy to get out of our gym clothes.. however the next scene was a cafeteria scene and this is the midwest and we were suppose to pack on the layers.. so im there with my long sleeve shirt, coat, scarf, hat, and boots in weather that would simply require a tshirt and jeans haha. im burning up as im sitting there with freaking lights everywhere with el pollo loco in front of me which i shouldnt eat because it's a few hours old hahah. the words we all longed to hear finally came: IT'S A WRAP! wooo after 11 hours we're done shooting. i had a blast, cast and crew were so great and friendly (hi james!!). cant wait to hear if the show gets picked up

just an update

went to the nfg/bayside/set your goals/shai hulud show last week with Will. had such a wonderful time :)

next, bamboozle left! i'm stoked to see the get up kids.

How are you all? Swell, I hope! Today is Thursday...yay for the weekend. I can't wait for spring break! (despite not having much to do but going to shows, which is good enough for me!). The hard stuff must come first, though, and that means final exams. Those come up all next week. Wish me luck.

First post of the new year!

Hope everything is going well for every single one of you all. Hope you all had an awesome, fun and crazy NYE, haha.

I'm currently watching Ghost Town (2008). Ricky is awesome.

I go back to Irvine on Sunday night and I can't imagine what the townhouse looks like. According to Kathy, the house is a mess! (Thanks to our former roommate, haha). These three weeks sure flew by!

Anyways, be back to update you guys some more when something interesting happen...it never does, BUT if it does, you know where to read.

Home!

I'm home for the weekend. I have a concert tonight, but I'm feeling a bit lazy. I think I'll just go catch the two support bands and then leave, haha. (The Maine and Mayday Parade!) I tried listening to Every Avenue, but not feeling it.. Watch, I'm gonna be a fan in a few months and I'm gonna regret not staying to see them. :P Paramore has a show in LA at Hollywood and Highland but it's on a Tuesday so sadly, I have to skip it. It's not really a concert, but a little performance for Hot Topic. There's gonna be a signing and even though I really want to meet the guys, I must skip out. Anyways, I got invited to a taping of a Twilight Special for MTV so I'm stoked for that! ROBERT PATTINSON, MY LOVE, WILL BE THERE. So will Kristin Stewart, who is extremely gorgeous might I add. The director, Catherine Hardwicke, will also be there. I can't wait! I'm gonna go with Caity from school :)
